Shanghai Xuhui State-owned Assets Investment (Group) Co., Ltd. (XHGT Group) was found in May 2018 with the approval of the People's Government of Xuhui District, Shanghai Municipality. The Group is acquired by previous Shanghai Xuhui State-owned Assets Management Co., Ltd. and Shanghai White Cat (Group) Co., Ltd.

XHGT group practices a parent-subsidiary management system after the acquisition. The Group wholly owns or controls 132 enterprises in total. There are 26 tier-2 enterprises, 95 tier-3 enterprises, and 11 tier-4 enterprises respectively.

XHGT group, as the subject of operating state-owned capital, plays its important role in maintaining and increasing the value of state-owned assets. In line with the targets set by the People's Government of Xuhui District and State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Xuhui District, the group has currently three aspects of business scope: investment promotion, financial investment, and asset management.
